Hear what people say about your product.
Eavesong listens on Hacker News, Reddit, Lobsters, GitHub, Bluesky and eight more places for posts about you and your competitors. It gathers them in one inbox and drafts a reply when one would help.
It runs on your server with your own keys, and it only reads. What gets posted is up to you.

Has anyone moved a big service to this? The docs say the migration is automatic but I can't find what happens to existing sessions.
Suggested reply
Existing sessions keep working: the migration copies them on first read, so nobody is signed out. The upgrade guide covers it under "Sessions".

Compared it with the two big ones last week. Smaller, but the only one I could run on a Pi.

Upgraded and the CLI now crashes on start. Anyone else?
Bug report: worth a personal look
What happens to a mention
Heard
On every check, Eavesong reads the sources you turned on and keeps the posts and comments that link your domain or name your product.
Weighed
Your AI provider reads the post and the thread around it, and decides whether a reply would help. Most of the time it wouldn't.
Drafted
When a reply is worth it, you get a short draft. Complaints and bug reports are flagged for you instead.
Yours to post
Copy the draft, change what you like, and post it from your own account. Then mark the mention handled.
Everything people say, in one place
One inbox
Who wrote it, where, when, and the post they were answering. Filter by source; mark items handled or ignored.
Competitors
Add competitor names and their mentions are collected too, so you see your share of the conversation.
Search Console
Clicks, searches and pages turned into a list of fixes: titles that don't get clicked, pages close to page one, searches with no page.
Report
Mentions by source, share of voice, and the items that needed a reply, over 7, 30 or 90 days.
Your own accounts
Connect several accounts per platform. Your own posts stay out of the inbox; replies to them come in.
Keys stay yours
API keys and tokens are encrypted before they're stored, and never shown again after you save them.
It never posts for you.
There's no button in Eavesong that publishes anything. Drafts are suggestions you copy and post yourself, which keeps you on good terms with communities that ban automated replies, and keeps your accounts safe.
Where it listens
Sources that need an API key use yours. Several accounts per platform are fine.
